Shopping on the World Wide Web has found many takers in recent years. With just a click of the mouse and your credit card number now you can purchase practically any item. Shoppers all around the world can save oodles of time and effort, and in many cases, even money, as they sit in the privacy and comfort of their homes and browse online markets. Shopping online has its pros and cons, like any other practice.

Online Shopping as the act of buying products and services over the internet through Web Stores and online marketplaces is getting ever popular. But as with any other activity, it has its pros and cons.

One of the greatest advantages is the opportunity for comparing prices and picking the most suited for your budget. Discounts and special offers are abundant on the Web and you can strike the best bargains possible. The choices are limitless and you can browse hundreds of goods without tiring yourself out.

Disadvantages include having to be careful of security risks. Also, delivery charges can be expensive and the time taken to deliver can be a lot. Another disadvantage is that some websites require you to become a member before you can purchase and membership charges can be extra.
